October is probably my favorite month of the year!
Starting with General Conference and then the celebration of halloween and beginning of the holidays
scary movies, haunted houses, {our wedding anniversary}, costumes...i love it all.
To kick off the Halloween season my brother invited us to his family's yearly tradition of Spooky Dinner.
Every October 1st they put out their halloween decorations together and then have a Halloween dinner. afterwards they watch The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and another scary movie.
We had such a good time!
We had to do it during the day time this year since the guys had priesthood session that evening.
This is a tradition Sky and I decided we are going to start for our little family and probably some friends next year!

Holy cow, how fun! You should look at the jello worms on my pinterest on the food board. It would be perfect at one of these parties!
Those would be perfect! Seriously we were thinking of having you and zach and then a couple of other families and do this. It was seriously so much fun!
We'll do it. That'll be a fun way to introduce Halloween to our kiddos who will probably be able to grasp the idea next year. And then trick or treating on Halloween!

Oh my Gosh that so much fun! I love it! October has to be my favorite month. I just love the fall leaves and the fun decorations. My birthday is in this month and my favorite holiday is Halloween. I love the idea of starting off the month with a fun spooky dinner party. I'll have to put that one on my traditions list too!
